The finance department belongs to the municipal management administration and is divided into three units specializing in different administrative areas: procurement, accounting, and budget/follow-up. The department is responsible for procurements, electronic commerce, supplier invoices, accounts payable, budget, and closing processes. Our task is to provide service to the entire municipal organization and support staff in various operations such as users, managers, municipal management, and support for politicians.

Job Responsibilities

As an employee in the finance department, you will work together with colleagues in the accounting unit, where the work with the municipality's accounts payable is included.

You will strengthen the work within accounts payable during the spring of 2026 as the municipality is working on implementing a new accounts payable system. Together with your colleagues in the supplier process, you will work to ensure that the municipality's accounts payable is handled efficiently and correctly in our financial system Raindance. One task will be to scan and verify invoices and manage rejected invoices that for various reasons must be processed manually in the flow. The tasks also include investigating reminders and collection claims, among others. You will also work with other financial administration tasks.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who enjoys administration, structure, order, and tidiness. You appreciate operational routine tasks and understand the importance of working proactively with a solution-focused approach.

We see that you have a high school education in finance or another education that the employer assesses as equivalent and have good computer skills. Experience in administrative work within accounts payable is an advantage.

As a person, you thrive in working both independently and in a team. You have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and are meticulous even under time pressure. Since the assignment is varied, you need to be able to structure your own work and be self-driven. You can easily communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing.
